Mr. Le Quoc Vinh is Chairman & CEO of Le Group of Companies (Le Media JSC, Le & Brothers Limited, Le Digital and Vietnam CEO Corporation), a top conglomerate in publishing, media, PR and event management in Vietnam.
Mr. Vinh is well recognized in Vietnam for his contribution to its development of media and communication industry. He created and re-invented various local newspapers and magazines in Vietnam including Dep (Beauty), TTVH & Dan Ong (Gentlemen), and Doanh Nhan (Entrepreneur). He also found Fansipan Media Corporation, owner and operator of Giai Tri TV Channel.
Mr. Vinh is Chairman of Vietnam Creative Entrepreneurs’ (VCE) Club, with more than 12,000 members. He is also the co-founder of Elite PR School, a public relations vocational training and practicing school and has been guest speaker/lecturer in public relations at the Academy of Journalism and Communications (AJC), University of Social Sciences and Humanity (USSH), and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
Mr. Vinh is an Asia-Pacific Board Member of Worldwide Partners, Inc. (WPI), a global network of independent owner-operated agencies and an Honorary Doctorate recipient of RMIT.
Mr. Bach Ngoc Chien is Vice President, Vietnam Vovinam Federation (VVF) which has over one million Vovinam martial arts practitioners in Vietnam and 70 countries worldwide.
In 1996, Mr. Chien started his distinguished public service career in Vietnam at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hanoi as its Press Officer. He was then appointed Press Attache at the Embassy of Vietnam in Washington DC and served from 2002 to 2005 during a very critical period of US Vietnam bilateral relationship.
After his successful posting in the United States, he was promoted to Deputy Director General of Policy Making Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2007 he became Managing Director, Vietnam Television International - VTV4 (2007-2014), a major government funded, multimedia platform which he successfully transformed it to a leading television channel not only in Vietnam but also to the Vietnamese community abroad.
In 2014 Chien was selected by the central government to participate in a special training program for its promising leaders and became Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of Nam Dinh Province. Among his outstanding contributions to local education, he led a massive reading campaign and raised funds to buy books for nearly 10,000 classrooms. After 5 years working in local government, he was transferred to the central government and became General Secretary, Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), overseeing 116 member organizations at provincial and central levels.
Having successfully performed in the public sector, in July 2020 he joined the private sector via EQuest Education Group as its Vice President responsible for its business ranging from operations in K-12 schools, colleges and universities to the production of educational technology software and digital platform for online and hybrid learning. By the time he left EQuest in September 2023, he brought in nearly 60,000 student enrollments in 150 public schools in North Vietnam.
Mr. Chien has a strong commitment to social responsibility, evident through his initiatives such as the Classroom Bookshelf Initiative and sponsorship of the Vietnam STEM Alliance. He holds an EMBA, the Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaii; an MA in Foreign Affairs and Trade, Monash University, Australia; a BA in Russian Studies, Hanoi University of International Studies; and a BA in Law, Hanoi University of Law.
Dr. Ly Qui Trung is currently an esteemed Adjunct Professor and Senior Advisor to the President of Western Sydney University in Australia.
With a remarkable track record spanning over 25 years, Dr. Trung has made significant contributions to the retail and hospitality industry. In 1997, he co-founded the renowned Pho24 restaurant chain, which rapidly expanded to 60 outlets across Asia, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, and Australia. The success of the chain led to its successful sale in 2011. During this time, Dr. Trung also co-founded several other reputable food and beverage brands in Vietnam, solidifying his expertise in the field.
Following his achievements in entrepreneurship, Dr. Trung relocated to Sydney, where he joined Western Sydney University as a guest lecturer. The university recognized his vast knowledge and experience, appointing him as Senior Advisor to the President. In 2018, he returned to Vietnam as the CEO of AKA Furniture Group, overseeing operations of their 30+ showrooms in HCMC and Hanoi.
Continuing his commitment to education and entrepreneurship, Dr. Trung played a pivotal role in the establishment of a Bachelor Degree in Entrepreneurship, a collaborative effort between Western Sydney University and the Economics University of Ho Chi Minh City. This program aims to cultivate future entrepreneurs and provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in the business world.
Dr. Trung is a prolific author, with a range of published books on various topics, including brand-building of SMEs, franchising, hospitality startups, and startup guidance during challenging times. His expertise is further supported by his academic qualifications, holding a PhD in Business Administration, as well as Master and Bachelor degrees in Hospitality management.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to Western Sydney University and the business community. Dr. Trung was awarded an honorary doctorate degree in 2021. His wealth of experience, entrepreneurial success, and dedication to education make him a highly respected figure in the field of Entrepreneurship, Hospitality, and Retail Business.
Nam D. Pham, Ph.D. is Founder and Managing Partner of ndp | analytics. Prior to ndp | analytics, Dr. Pham was Vice President at Scudder Kemper Investments in Boston in charge of research, asset allocations, and currency hedging for global and international bond funds. Before that, he was Chief Economist of the Asia Region for Standard & Poor’s DRI, an economist at the World Bank, and a consultant to both the Department of Commerce and the Federal Trade Commission. His work on innovation and international trade have been included in the Economic Report of the President.
Dr. Pham is an Adjunct Professor at the George Washington University (GWU), Washington DC. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from GWU, a M.A. from Georgetown University, and a B.A. from the University of Maryland. He is a member of the Board of Advisors of Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland’s Robert F. Smith School of Business and a Board Member of the Food Recovery Network
Kha Le-Huu, ISSP, NCARB is Founder/President, Le-Huu Partners, Architects/Urbanists (LHP), a multi-awarded architecture firm in Florida, USA.
As its founder, Mr. Le-Huu has led the firm in engaging with architecture, urbanism, and planning projects that prioritize sustainability. LHP’s work has gained recognition and has been featured in renowned design publications worldwide. Mr. Le-Huu’s contributions have particularly been recognized through numerous awards, including the American Institute of Architects Henry Adams Medal and the Florida Governor’s Council for Sustainable Florida Award, for outstanding design, urban planning, and preservation.
In addition to his notable achievements in the United States, Mr. Le-Huu has made significant contributions to sustainable development and architecture in Vietnam. He has played a key role in projects such as the Vietnam National Museum of Nature, where he provided strategic planning and programming assistance. He has also advised on sustainability and urban design initiatives in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, emphasizing low-impact development, ecological enhancement, and historical context.
With a passion for education and knowledge sharing, Mr. Le-Huu has also served as a lecturer, facilitating symposiums and collaborations between universities and scientific institutions in the United States and Vietnam, focusing on sustainable urban design and biopersity protection.
Mr. Le-Huu holds a Master of Arts, Summa Cum Laude, in Architecture and a Bachelor of Design with High Honors, both from the University of Florida. He’s a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP), and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), which enables his practice license through reciprocity throughout the United States of America
